https://xmovies8.be/film/dave-30262/ : I wanted to be cooler than my older brother Dennis who has always been hipper than me my whole life. He played bass guitar in bands and has a a badasss goatee. So I decided to learn to breakdance and write my latest show about this silly search for coolness. It's called "Lawrence Leung Learns to Breakdance". I'm performing it again at the Sydney Opera House from April 15-26. Come along. Video Quality: Great quality with the Blu-ray format in a 1080p with AVC MPEG-4 encoding. This version of Saturday Night Fever is the best the movie has ever looked including theatrical revivals. The screenplay dialogue used in the comedic film "Defending Your Life" was hysterical. Albert Brooks has endless one-liners that make you laugh, laugh, and laugh again. The interesting part of his character was that he delivered his funny statements in a serious manner. Then, when Meryl Streep responds in an unusually strange way by not laughing at his funny comments, it makes the comedy all the more funny. But for my money, no other decade rivals the 1980s for Comedy Movies; it was the Golden Age of Comedies. The amazing thing about the 80s was the sheer depth of great comedies as well as the creativity of the writers. You don't believe me? Well consider that on my personal list of the Top 30 Comedies of the 1980s, Airplane! and Sixteen Candles do not show up until numbers 20 and 21. That is depth. What I liked about this film was that it was visually interesting and musically stunning. I loved the musical arrangements which really enhanced the enjoyment of this film. I also liked the retro look of the animation used to tell this story. It offered an authenticity that I believe would have been lost in a CGI production. This 1990 action-comedy film starring Eddie Murphy and Nick Nolte is a sequel to the 1982 film 48 Hrs. It was more successful than the first one in terms of box-office, and funnier. Murphy, who was then successful for his "Beverly Hills Cop," once more proved that his funny face really works. IF you decide you want to perform comedy magic - you should forget you are a magician and think like a comedian and then add the magic into your act to support the comedy. A perfect example of this is The Amazing Jonathan. His act is pure "comedian" with lots of magic on top of his act. When you watch people like John Ferrentino do his comedy magic act, he focuses more on the comedy than the magic. Video Quality: This is a visual stunning film transferred to 1080p with AVC MPEG-4 encoding. The film remains to keep its grainy tone but you will never see this film look as vibrant as it does on Blu-ray.
